  • Account

    1. How do I create an online account?

      You may create your account during normal business hours at the Inspections Department. A valid email address and photo ID are required.

    2. What if I forget my username and/or password?

      If you have forgotten your username and/or password please contact the Inspections Department. They will reset your password and it will be sent to the email address you used to create your account.

    3. Where do I go to login?

      To login look for the link in the upper right hand corner of the page.

    4. When I login, why does it say my account has been disabled due to inactivity?

      Your account is automatically disabled if you have not requested a permit or scheduled an inspection in the last 3 years. You must reactivate your account in person at the Inspections Department.

    5. What is your privacy policy?

      All permit information is public record and can be viewed by anyone. Any sensitive information pertaining to your account or payment history is private and will not be shared with any other parties.

  • Fees and Payments

    1. What forms of payment do you accept?

      We accept the following credit cards online: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. If you wish to pay by cash or check you will have to pay in person at the Inspections Department.

    2. Are you storing my credit card number and/or billing address information?

      For your protection, we do not store any sensitive information such as full credit card numbers, cvc code, or billing address once your payment has been processed. We only store the first two and last four digits of your card number in the following format: 12**-****-****-3456. This info can be seen when you print your invoices.

    4. What is your refund policy?

      Refunds and returns are handled by individual departments. Department Refund/Return Policies vary based on the service, product, or event purchased, as well as the original mode of payment used, i.e., cash, check or credit card.     2. Where can I find information about a permit?

      To find information about a permit click the Search Permits button on the menu bar near the top of the page. From there you can search by permit number, street address, or owner's information. If it's a permit that you applied for online you can find it under View My Activity.

    3. How do I apply for a permit?

      Detailed instructions about applying for a permit can be found on the Front Page.

    4. I'm trying to apply for a permit, but what if I can't find the property address?

      If you are unable to locate the property address for your permit, simply click on the "click here to continue." link located in between the list of properties and the "Property Search Results" heading. When the permit application page loads, type your address into the form provided for you. If there is a problem related to the address you entered, it may delay the processing of your permit.

    5. How long does it take to process my permit application?

      All permit application are processed in the order they are received. You will receive an email when you first submit your permit and again once your permit has been processed.
